As we fight through these testing times together, it is important for us all to stay at home, stay safe and travel only if necessary, and while ensuring we follow all safety protocols. We understand the situation and want to ensure that you have one less thing to worry about i.e., your Club Vistara privileges.
In addition to the exceptions, we communicated on 15-Sep-2020 click here, we have decided to offer relaxations to different aspects of your Club Vistara membership as mentioned below:
1. Extension of tier status
Previously, we had extended tier validity for CV Platinum, Gold and Silver members by 12 months. Now we are offering further extension of the tier validity status by another 12 months. The tier extension is being offered to all members who have achieved their tier upgrade or successfully renewed their tier based on our Tier Evaluation Criteria, either by earning required Tier Points or taking the required number of flights.
For example, based on our last year’s communication, for a Club Vistara Platinum member who had their tier re-evaluation date as 31-Oct-2020, we extended it by 12 months till 31-Oct-2021, we will now further extend the tier validity by 12 months and the revised tier evaluation date will now be 31-Oct-2022.
Tier status via Club Vistara Partners - Elite tiers achieved through associations with our partners will continue to be evaluated based on the relationship with the partners and the respective partner terms and conditions.
Please note –
- As this relates to extension of tier validity, One-Class Upgrade vouchers will not be credited upon such extension.
- The extended validity of Tier will be visible in your Club Vistara account post 08-June-2021.
2. Extension of validity of CV Points
During our last round of exceptions, Club Vistara Points that had expired between March 2020 - Dec 2020 were re-credited into a members account with the validity of 12 months. Further to that, we are now offering additional 12 months extension to all Club Vistara Points expiring/expired between Jan 2021 – Oct 2021.
For example, for a member, if 100 CV Points expire in the month of May-2021, 100 CV Points will be credited with the validity up to 30-May-2022.
Club Vistara Points in lieu of expired points will be credited in the first week of the following month.
For CV Points expired between Jan-2021 and May-2021, compensatory CV Points will be credited and will reflect in members account by 08-Jun-2021.
3. Extension of One-Class Upgrade voucher validity
One-Class Upgrade vouchers that had expired between March 2020 - Dec 2020 were re-credited into a members account with the validity of 6 months. Further to that all unutilized One-class Upgrade voucher(s) expiring (or expired) between 01-Jan-2021 - 31-Oct-2021 will be re-credited with a validity of 12 months.
A compensatory voucher, in lieu of the expired voucher, will be credited within the first week of the following month.
For vouchers expired between Jan-2021 and May-2021, compensatory voucher(s) will be credited on or before 08-Jun-2021.
4. Revision of the launch date of the New Tier Evaluation criteria
The New Tier Evaluation Criteria that was to be applicable from 1-Jun-2022 will now be effective from 1-Jan-2023. To know more click here.
