1. Grand Palace:
A Buddhist temple that served home to Thai monarchy, Wat Phra Kaeo is one of the most sacred places of Bangkok. A massive structure spreading across 94.5 hectares, the temple houses a 26-inch tall emerald Buddha making for a stunning view.

The Wat Pho temple is known for teaching and preservation of traditional Thai medicine. Located south of The Grand Palace, this temple was built by King Rama I, as a place for healing. The temple now houses a massive idol of Lord Buddha adorned with precious stones. You will also find a traditional medical school here for Thai medicines.
