Veer Savarkar International Airport, named after the freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, is also known as Port Blair Airport. It is located 2 km south of Port Blair and is the main airport of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands. It has only one terminal at the moment, with the second terminal scheduled to begin operations soon.
