About Leh

Surrounded by the Karakoram Range to the north and the glorious Himalayas in the South, Leh is the second largest district in India. There is no dearth of stunning landscapes with picturesque views in this stunning town. The warm people and culture, together with soul-warming food and colourful markets, make this an ideal place for a visit.

Lined with stupas and mudbrick houses, a trip to Leh is sure to be an unforgettable experience.

Indulge in various adventurous activities in this Tibetan town or take a trip to the famous monasteries and traditional markets. The best time to visit for the same would be during the summers, that is, between the months of May to October. These months experience perfect weather with warm days and slightly chilly nights. You can also enjoy various local festivals during these months. To catch a glimpse of beautiful snow-covered hills, visit Leh during the winter months between November to April.

With water the colour of blue like no other, the Pangong Lake is a must-visit. The lake is 12 km long and is located at an altitude of 4350 meters. Covering India and Tibet, the lake completely freezes during the winter months owing to its chilly temperature. The simple beauty and crystal water of the Pangong Lake makes for a stunning view.

About Delhi

Delhi is a city that takes you on a journey back and forth in time. From the winding lanes and crowdedbazaarsof Old Delhi to the remnants of lost empires, old forts and royal gardens — it’s a city steeped in history. Delhi is home to three UNESCO World Heritage Sites - the majestic Red Fort, the Qutub Minar and Humayun’s Tomb, a 16thcentury precursor to the Taj Mahal. Besides the ancient ruins and historical monuments, Delhi offers delightful experiences of eating, shopping and having fun. The city’s cosmopolitan culture is evident in its local marketplaces, high-street shopping destinations, eclectic cuisines and scintillating nightlife.

A trip to Delhi is incomplete without a stop at Connaught Place’s Janpath. This financial and commercial heart of the city is built along a colonnade of Georgian-style buildings. A perfect place to explore international chain stores, boutiques, restaurants, cafés and bars, as well as book shops and art galleries. However, for an authentic Delhi shopping experience, don’t miss the bustling Chandni Chowk and the vibrant Dilli Haat — a hub of art and handicraft from artists across the country.
