Coronavirus update for our members

It is our pleasure to welcome you back with some changes to the usual set of benefits to ensure safety and social distancing keeping in mind the ongoing pandemic. We will keep updating this page for any other changes while we operate within the guidelines for increased flyer safety. To know more about our safety guidelines, please click here.

Considering the current situation, in addition to the exceptions we communicated on 30-May-2020, we are further extending exceptions of our benefits as below: 

1. Extension of tier status


2. Extension of validity of CV Points


3. Extension of One-Class Upgrade voucher validity


4. Revision of the launch date of the New Tier Evaluation criteria


In compliance with the Ministry of Civil Aviation guidelines, the below modifications have been made to your benefits and privileges on a temporary basis and are currently applicable till 24th November 2020.

Please refer below pointers for further details:

  • We encourage that you use One-Class Upgrade e-vouchers for yourself and your companions at the airport. Physical vouchers will not be accepted in an effort to reduce any human interaction. This modification is introduced to minimize any chances of cross-contamination.
  • We have now resumed the issuance of physical welcome kits for CV Platinum and CV Gold members.
  • As per govt. orders, please carry 1 piece of hand baggage consisting of essential items only, and 1 piece of check-in baggage based on the amended free baggage allowance as per the class of travel. However, excess baggage privileges will be applicable as per your Tier, but not exceeding 32kg for the 1 piece of allowed baggage. No additional baggage will be allowed on Economy Lite fares. Carry-On Plus service will also not be available.
  • You will continue to enjoy receiving check-in baggage on priority. However, for increased flyer safety and based on guidelines from the Ministry of Civil Aviation, we will discontinue priority check-in and boarding temporarily.
  • You can access lounge services at the Plaza Premium Lounge at Delhi’s T3 and at our partner lounges across other airports (subject to airport operator), as per your entitlement.
  • Complimentary Vistara FlyEarly service will be temporarily suspended as it requires more interaction with staff at the airport which is best avoided at this time.
