Cash + Points

Q. What is Cash + Points?

A. With Cash + Points, you have the flexibility of paying for your flight using a combination of cash or Club Vistara Points (CV Points). With this feature, you can make part payment for your flight ticket using your accumulated CV Points and the remaining in cash. It also enables you to book any available seat on any flight operated and marketed by Vistara for yourself or any of your pre-selected nominees. (up to a maximum of 8)

Q. In which countries can I use Cash + Points?

A. Cash + Points is applicable for all countries. However, as of now this feature is only accessible through the Indian website domain.

Q. Which payment methods apply to Cash + Points?

A. All Debit/Credit Cards including CV Points are applicable.

Q. If I pay for my flight using Cash + Points, can I change or reschedule my ticket?

A. Yes, you may make changes to your Cash + Points booking by paying the applicable change fees as per the fare rules and difference of fare in cash.

Q. Can I upgrade a Cash + Points booking using One Class Upgrade vouchers?

A. Yes! Cash + Points bookings can be upgraded to a higher cabin class using One-Class Upgrade voucher(s). This can be done by contacting our Customer Service Centre once the booking has been made or at the airport on the day of the flight. The voucher(s) terms and conditions are applicable. .

Q. If I cancel my Cash + Points booking, will my CV Points be refunded?

A. You may cancel the booking by contacting our Customer Service Centre. At the time of refund, the cancellation fee will be deducted in cash and the remaining in equivalent CV Points which will be charged from the cash amount paid. If the cancellation fee is more than the cash amount paid for the booking, then the remaining amount of cancellation fee will be charged with the equivalent value of CV Points.

Q. Can I pay for Optional Services using Cash + Points?

A. Currently, only flight bookings can be paid for using the Cash+Points feature.

Q. Can I pay for the complete amount using CV Points?

A. Yes, based on the available CV Points balance in your Club Vistara account, you may convert 100% Base Fare (excluding Q surcharge) to CV Points and pay for the flight booking. Please note that all taxes and fees will be payable in cash.

Q. How is Cash + Points different from Award Flights?

A. Our Award Flights offer attractive fares in CV Points for members to book flights across Vistara network. Award Flights are limited in number and may not be available close to the intended travel date. With our Cash+Points feature, you can use CV Points to pay in part of full towards the Base Fare (excluding Q surcharge) of all available seats.

Q. Can I use Cash + Points to purchase tickets on partner flights?

A. Cash + Points can only be used for booking flights operated and marketed by Vistara.

Q. Can I use Cash + Points to pay for the taxes and charges?

A. Taxes and fees are payable in cash. You may use Cash + Points to pay for the Base Fare (excluding Q surcharge) using CV Points.

Q. Can I use Cash + Points for my family member’s and/or friends’?

A. You can add up to 8 family members or friends as your nominee(s) in your Club Vistara account and use Cash + Points to make a flight booking for them.
