1. What is a Purple Ticket Gift Card?
Purple Ticket Gift Card is a travel gift card by Vistara, that allows customers to choose from a plethora of gifting options for their loved ones. Be it birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, festivals, or for corporate gifting; there is a gift card for every occasion! Our gift cards are available in many denominations and if you don’t find what you are looking for, we will be more than happy to customize a gift card just for you!
2. What are the types of Purple Ticket Gift Card Gift Cards?
Currently, the Purple Ticket Gift Card/Gift Card is available only in digital format for various special occasions like weddings, anniversaries, birthdays and more.
3. How do I buy a Purple Ticket Gift Card?
- Log onto https://giftcards.airvistara.com/
- Select the occasion for which you would like a Purple Ticket Gift Card.
- Enter the amount of your choice.
- Enter the name and e-mail address of the recipient.
- Add your personalized message and preview the gift card.
- Proceed to make the payment via Credit Card, Debit Card or through Net Banking.
- Once you have completed the checkout process, you will receive an email confirming the purchase, and the recipient will receive the E-Gift Card on their e-mail which they can then use to book a flight and ancillary services on www.airvistara.com or through the Vistara mobile app.
4. What is the validity of the Purple Ticket Gift Card?
Purple Ticket Gift Cards are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
5. How will I receive the Purple Ticket Gift Card?
The gift card will be sent to the recipient on the e-mail address/mobile number mentioned by you in recipient e-mail address and mobile number section. Currently, we do not have a provision for physical gift cards.
6. How can I redeem the Purple Ticket Gift Card?
The Purple Ticket Gift Card can be redeemed through the Vistara website or mobile app only, by following the below steps:
- Enter your 16-digit Purple Ticket Gift Card No. and 6-digit Pin Code.
- Click on "Make Payment" and pay the balance amount (if any) using other payment modes listed.
Please note that flights and ancillary services are not redeemable offline.
8. Can I use the Purple Ticket Gift Card to book flights on Vistara Mobile App?
Yes, Purple Ticket Gift Cards are also applicable on bookings through the Vistara Mobile App.
9. Can I redeem multiple Purple Ticket Gift Cards in one transaction?
Yes, you can redeem up to 2 Purple Ticket Gift Cards (16-digit codes) in one transaction.
10. What happens if the transaction amount is lower than the Purple Ticket Gift Card amount?
The balance after doing one transaction would remain in the Purple Ticket Gift Card (16-digit codes) and can be used for another transaction before the validity period.
11. What happens to the gift card if I cancel my booking?
The balance amount after deducting cancellation charges would be refunded to the Purple Ticket Gift Card(s) used. Customers are advised to retain their gift cards till they have completed their travel. Vistara will not be responsible if the gift card is lost, stolen, or used without permission. There will be no validity extension in case of refund.
12. I had applied my Purple Ticket Gift Card(s), but the transaction failed, and the amount was deducted from the card. What do I do?
If the transaction was not complete after applying the Purple Ticket Gift Card(s), the amount deducted from each card will automatically be refunded within 72 hours.
13. What are the customer support details?

14. I bought a Purple Ticket Gift Card, but the recipient has not received it yet.
Do not worry, your order is safe with us. The recipient will receive the Purple Ticket Gift Card on their e-mail address within 10 minutes of a successful online payment. If the recipient has not received the gift card after 1 hour, please contact our Call Centre on +91-9289228888. In case you have opted for a specific date for the delivery of the gift card, the Purple Ticket Gift Card will be e-mailed to the recipient as per that date. You can schedule the delivery up to 30 days from the date of the event.
15. How can I order a Purple Ticket Gift Card for a person who does not have an e-mail ID?
You can order the Purple Ticket Gift Card in the recipient’s name but enter your e-mail ID/Phone number instead. You can then print this e-mail and offer it as a gift to the recipient directly.
16. How do I get a refund for my Purple Ticket Gift Card?
We are sorry to hear you wish to cancel your Purple Ticket Gift Card order. As per our Terms and Conditions, the Purple Ticket Gift Card is unfortunately non-refundable. Please read the Terms and Conditions for more information.
17. How do I pay for the Purple Ticket Gift Card?
All payment options are available on the payment page of the Purple Ticket Gift Card web store.
18. Will I receive an order confirmation after placing the order?
Upon placing the order, we will send you an order and payment confirmation e-mail on your registered e-mail address. The recipient of your Purple Ticket Gift Card will receive an e-mail with the gift card design you have selected. This e-mail will consist of the 16-digit gift card number and all the other information required for redeeming the vouchers on www.airvistara.com or through the Vistara mobile app. You can also check the Terms and Conditions of the Purple Ticket Gift Card on the link you receive via e-mail.
19. How do I check the status of my Purple Ticket Gift Card order?
You will receive a confirmation e-mail with all the details upon purchase of your Purple Ticket Gift Card. You can check the order status for the same on https://giftcards.airvistara.com/
20. How do I check the balance of my Purple Ticket Gift Card order?
You can check your balance anytime on our customer portal on https://giftcards.airvistara.com/ under Check Balance on top of page.
21. Can I recharge my Purple Ticket Gift Card?
Purple Ticket Gift Cards cannot be recharged but one can buy a new gift card anytime they wish!
22. Can I use my Purple Ticket Gift Card partially?
This depends on the Terms and Conditions of each gift card. You can find the Terms and Conditions in the e-mail sent along with the E-Gift Card. Some gift cards can be redeemed only once while others can be redeemed multiple times until the balance runs out. In case the value of the purchase exceeds the value of the gift card, the difference shall be paid by the bearer. No refund or credit note will be issued for an unused Purple Ticket Gift Card.
23. What is the validity of my Purple Ticket Gift Cards?
The validity of the Purple Ticket Gift Card will be mentioned in the e-mail and will be counted from the date of receipt of the same.
24. I misspelled the recipient’s name while purchasing the gift card, what do I do?
Please contact our Call Centre and they will help you rectify the name on the gift card.
25. Can I redeem my Purple Ticket Gift Card from a travel agency?
You can only redeem your Purple Ticket Gift Card through our website www.airvistara.com or through the Vistara mobile app.
26. Can I use my Purple Ticket Gift Card on a holiday package?
While we do not have a provision to do the same at present, rest assured, we are working to ensure one can redeem the gift cards on holiday packages too for an unforgettable travel experience. Currently, Purple Ticket Gift Cards can be used to book Vistara flights and ancillary services.

- By accessing https://giftcards.airvistara.com/, purchasing or redeeming the Gift Card on www.airvistara.com, you (“You” or “User”) agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) governing the sale and use of Gift Cards .
- TATA SIA Airlines Limited (“Vistara”) is the issuer as well as the redeeming entity for Purple Ticket Gift Card(s) (“Gift Cards”).
- Gift Cards can only be purchased from https://giftcards.airvistara.com/
- Gift Cards are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase, and the validity of Gift Card cannot be extended under any circumstances.
- Gift Cards are valid for redemption only on the Vistara website- www.airvistara.com for Vistara flights and ancillary services like Seats, Meals, Lounge, Excess Baggage, Wheelchair except for the products and services such as Hotels, Cars, Vistara Meet & Assist service and Vistara Getaways as available on Vistara website www.airvistara.com.
- Gift Cards are fully transferable but cannot be resold. Any unlawful resale or attempted resale is grounds for seizure and cancellation of the Gift Card without compensation.
- You can purchase a Gift Card in any denomination ranging between INR 250 and INR 1,00,000.
- Gift Cards cannot be redeemed through any offline channel such as call centre, customer service center, airport ticketing center etc.
- Gift Cards are not redeemable for group travel.
- Gift Cards are for individual only. Travel agents found purchasing or using the card would lead to cancellation of booking and no refund would be made.
- In case of transaction failure while making the payment through the Gift Card, the amount will be automatically refunded to the same Gift Card within 72 hours.
- Gift Card can be clubbed with any offer such as discount/cash back/promotion run by Vistara on its website- www.airvistara.com.
- Other modes of payment can be used along with the Gift Card to avail services and products as available on the Vistara website www.airvistara.com or mobile app.
- Gift Cards are valid for both full and partial redemption. In case of partial redemption, balance amount would remain in the Gift Card till the validity period which can be used for future transactions.
- Multiple Gift Cards (up to a maximum of 2) can be combined and used on 1 transaction.
- All the products and services are subject to availability.
- Gift Card once issued cannot be refunded, cancelled, or exchanged for cash.
- Vistara will not be responsible if the gift card is lost, stolen, or used without permission.
- If the Gift Card is lost, stolen, or used without authorization, the value will not be refunded. Ownership and risk of loss is transferred to the User of the Gift Card immediately upon completion of processing of the transaction.
- In case of cancellation of purchase made using the Gift Card within the validity period, the amount used through Gift Card will be reversed to the same Gift Card as used at the time of booking.
- In case of cancellations where the Gift Card validity has expired, no refund will be processed for the amount paid through the expired Gift Card.
- Users are required to save the Gift Card number and pin code to utilize this refunded amount as Vistara will not be able to reset the pin code or reissue a new gift card number.
- Vistara reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at its discretion. Vistara will notify any changes by posting an updated version of the Terms and Conditions on website https://www.airvistara.com and Vistara mobile app.
- Vistara reserves the right to deactivate, suspend, hold for review, cancel any Gift Card, or refuse to accept any Gift Card if it suspects that there is a duplicity of cards, fraudulent means of procuring the Gift Card or for any other violation of the Terms and Conditions.
- In no event the liability of Vistara for any claims shall exceed the value of the Gift Card.
- These Terms and Conditions shall be construed by and governed in accordance with the laws of India and the Courts of Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising out of, or in connection with these Terms and Conditions.
