With the objective of providing a seamless and delightful travel experience, the Ministry of Civil Aviation launched DigiYatra, an initiative that will enable passengers to travel paperless. They no longer need to show their tickets or boarding passes at various checkpoints, leading to faster processing times and improving the overall experience. To enrol for DigiYatra, passenger needs to follow below steps:

  • Download the DigiYatra App available on Android and Apple store, using your Aadhaar linked mobile number
  • Link your Aadhaar using Digi Locker. In case you are not registered with Digi Locker, please register using your Aadhaar number. Ensure that your Aadhaar name is same as your flight ticket
  • Click a selfie with good clarity, validate with your Aadhaar and save credentials
  • Add your boarding pass to the Digi Yatra App before your flight and receive confirmation

DigiYatra services are currently available for all domestic flights at Delhi Airport, Bengaluru Airport, Varanasi Airport, Pune Airport, Mumbai Airport, Ahmedabad Airport, Kolkata Airport, Guwahati Airport, Jaipur Airport, Hyderabad Airport, Kochi Airport and Lucknow Airport.

You can also register for Digiyatra at dedicated registration kiosks at select airports by following the below-mentioned steps:

  • Scan your boarding pass at the kiosk
  • Register your face
  • Present a valid govt. Photo ID proof
  • Proceed to the specified Digiyatra e-gates at various checkpoints

On-ground registration for Digiyatra is currently available at Gate-2, Terminal 3 at Delhi Airport and at Gate-2, Departures at Varanasi Airport.
