Flight Dispatcher (With DGCA Approved License Only)

Flight Dispatcher reports to Sr. Manager Flight Operations – Ops Technical Services and is responsible for maintaining Operational Control and Flight Watch on all Company Flights

More specifically the Flight Dispatcher will

  • Review and evaluate weather information, to determine and select the most economical route of flight.
  • Prepare an Optimized Operational flight plan, factoring Notams, Tafors and Metars, for all flights within the schedule.
  • Compute the amount of fuel required, using company and DGCA established guidelines
  • Assist the pilot in command in an emergency situation by providing any assistance necessary to ensure safe completion of the flight.
  • Liaison with A.T.C, Apron & other authorities for smooth functioning.
  • Compute the RTOW for each flight, thus ensuring maximum Payload.
  • Any other responsibility as assigned by the Manager
 
Experience:                               Min 0-3 yrs
Academic Qualification:         10+2 Maths and Physics, Graduate will be preferred (Science Graduate)
Professional Qualification:     DGCA approved Dispatcher License

Ground Instructor (A320 Approved) Technical/Performance

The Ground Instructor instructs flight crew members undergoing initial, recurrent and/or transition training in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual and the applicable CAR., More specifically the Ground Instructor will

  • Conduct crewmember initial, recurrent or transition training in accordance with the FOTM as directed by the Chief Pilot Training, Flight Procedures, Training and Standards
  • DAs directed, assist in the development of various flight crewmember training programs. Checks the currency of training manuals and other materials used in various light training courses
  • Complete appropriate flight crewmember ground training records and other flight training documentation in a timely manner and directs to the appropriate filing source
  • Communicate issues of concern, or of exceptional achievement, regarding crewmember trainees’ performance to the Chief Pilot Training in a timely manner

Experience: Min 1-10 yrs (As Ground Instructor)

Position: Sr. Executive/ Assistant Manager - Flight Operations Quality

Role & Responsibilities:

  • To manage the design, development, implementation and evaluation of Flights Operations Quality System (FOQS), including the necessary resources.
  • To determine whether proposed policies and practices meet the requirements of the Flight Ops Quality needs and are being properly implemented. To determine the effectiveness of the Quality System.
  • To identify and manage programs / initiatives for improvement in the Quality System.
  • To liaise with external bodies such as DGCA and IOSA on quality matters including external auditors.
  • To manage the Division level Meetings (e.g. Flt Ops MC Meeting).
  • Ensure KPI Monitoring is carried out by each BU.
  • Any other task assigned by SVP Flight Operations.

  • Liaise with other stakeholders like HR, FCT, NPD and Company planning to manage above.
  • Do gap analysis (plan versus actual) and make insightful recommendations.

Position: Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI)

Role & Responsibilities:

  • To conduct synthetic Flight Instruction on Flight Simulator for pilots training.
  • Training of PIC/co-pilots for type rating.
  • Training for issue/renewal of Instrument rating.
  • To conduct MFTD (Maintenance Flight Training Device) training for pilots.
  • To conduct CRM training for pilots.
  • Recurrent pilot proficiency training
  • Simulator training of SFI and LTCs

  • To prepare course outline for various training module.

Eligibility:

  • Shall have been current in flying as PIC on the same/another type of commercial air transport with a scheduled operator on aeroplane with AUW exceeding 5700 kgs in the preceding 5 years;or
  • Shall have been a simulator trainer on the same/another type of commercial air transport with a scheduled operator or a DGCA/ICAO Contracting State approved TRTO/ATO on aeroplane AUW exceeding 5700 kgs in the preceding 5 years
  • Shall not have tested alcohol positive during pre/post flight medical check in the previous 3 years of flying and Shall not have been held blameworthy for an aircraft accident/ incident in the previous 3/1 years of flying respectively and,
  • Shall have undergone a medical assessment by a doctor qualified in Aviation Medicine on suitability for simulator instructional duties that will address;
