1. Salugara Monastery

Located about 13 km away from Bagdogra, Salugara Monastery is famous for stupas of Buddha. About 110 feet tall in height, the stupa was founded by the Tibetan Lama, Kalu Rinpoche and built by Buddhist monks who were the followers of His Holiness- The Dalai Lama. Immerse yourself in the holy experience at the monastery while enjoying the gorgeous view of the hills surrounding it.

2. Sevoke Kali Mandir

Built on the banks of the Teesta River, the temple is home to Goddess Kali. It is believed that Goddess Kali was first worshipped here, making this temple sacred to loyal devotees. You can also admire the spectacular view of the peaks of Kanchenjunga from the temple. If you wish to see this temple decorated beautifully by the locals, do visit during the months of Durga Puja and Navratri.
