Dehing Patkai Wildlife Sanctuary:

Dehing Patkai is the only rainforest in Assam and has three parts: Dirok Rainforest, Upper Dihing River, and Jeypore. This rainforest has a large variety of flora and fauna including species of orchids and wild bananas making it a must visit! If you visit in February, you can attend the popular Dehing – Patkai festival too.

Joypur Rainforest:

A paradise spread over an area of 108 sq. km, the Joypur Rainforest experiences rainfall almost throughout the year. You will find an extensive species of orchids and trees with varied animal species including elephants, hornbills, leopards, pythons, spotted deer, and langurs.

Namphake Village:

The Namphake Village is located at a distance of about 37 km away from the city. The village houses a beautiful monastery and is home to the Tai Phakey families who reside here. With ample natural beauty and a view of the river Burhi Dihing, this place is a must visit when in Dibrugarh.
