1. Bangalore Palace
The majestic palace, surrounded by magnificent gardens, is a popular tourist attraction in Bengaluru. The palace is now owned by the Mysore Royal family.
2. Lal Bagh
Commissioned by Hyder Ali and completed by Tipu Sultan, the 240-acre botanical garden featuring French, Persian and Afghani plants, is a haven for nature lovers. A 3,000 million years old granite rock formation is the centrepiece of this garden. This is also the oldest rock formation in the world.
3. HAL Aerospace Museum
Located at Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) Bengaluru, the museum showcases the growth of the Indian aviation industry for six decades. The museum houses various helicopters and aircrafts, flight simulators and a mock Air Traffic Control Tower.
4. Cubbon Park
Laid by Lord Cubbon, this 300-acre calm and cool park is an ideal place for nature lovers. The Bengaluru Aquarium, the second largest aquarium in India, is also situated in this park.
5. Lumbini Gardens
Located on the banks of the Nagawara Lake, the Lumbini Gardens is a must-visit if you wish to spend a relaxed evening.
