VISTARA COMMENCES SERVICES TO SHARJAH
19th January 2021
Delhi, 20 January 2021: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, today inaugurated its daily services to and from Sharjah, under the travel bubble agreement between India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This is Vistara’s second destination in the UAE, complementing its 4x weekly connectivity between Delhi and Dubai. Deploying its A320neo aircraft with a three-class cabin configuration and enhanced features, Vistara is the only airline to offer travellers the choice of flying Premium Economy between India and UAE, in addition to Business and Economy cabins. Starting 24 January 2021, the airline will also fly daily between Mumbai and Sharjah.
Vistara’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Leslie Thng, said, “We are delighted to inaugurate our daily services between Delhi and Sharjah, and are excited to add flights on the Mumbai-Sharjah route in the next four days. These flights further strengthen our presence in the Middle East while offering travellers the choice of flying India’s best airline between India and the UAE.”

VISTARA RAMPS UP SERVICES TO UAE WITH FLIGHTS TO SHARJAH FROM 20 JAN 2021

Delhi, 11 January 2021: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, today announced daily, non-stop flights between Sharjah (UAE) and Delhi starting 20 January 2021. The airline will operate its Airbus A320neo aircraft on this route as part of the ‘air bubble agreement’ between India and the UAE, complementing its services to/from Dubai.
Vistara will also become the only airline to offer travellers the choice of Premium Economy cabin in addition to Business and Economy cabins. Bookings for flights to and from Sharjah are being progressively opened on all channels, including Vistara’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents.

Vistara will accept all eligible customers meeting visa/entry requirements in both the countries, as specified by the respective government bodies. Vistara strongly encourages its customers to fully understand these guidelines before making their bookings. All travelers to Sharjah must have a negative RT-PCR test report, conducted not more than 96 hours prior to arriving at Sharjah Airport. Travellers will have to undergo another mandatory RT-PCR test upon arrival at Sharjah. Also, customers travelling to India from Sharjah must carry a negative RT-PCR test report, conducted within 72 hours prior to arriving in India.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Vistara has taken several measures to ensure the highest levels of hygiene across touchpoints. This includes Vistara’s cabin crew wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and avoiding all non-essential interaction with passengers. Delhi, 08 January 2021: In celebration of completing six glorious years, Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier, today announced ‘The Grand 6th Anniversary Sale’. The sale is intended to inspire people to travel to places where they get the feeling of ‘being at home’, physically or emotionally. The sale is also an acknowledgement of the challenging last year that everyone across the world has spent staying away from places, people or things they value the most.
The 48-hour sale started at 0001 hrs on 08 January 2021 and offers attractive fares for travel across Vistara’s domestic network in all three cabin classes of travel – Economy, Premium Economy and Business. The offer is valid for travel between 25 February 2021 and 30 September 2021. It offers Economy Class fares starting INR 1299, Premium Economy fares starting INR 2099 and Business Class fares starting INR 5999.

VISTARA TO FLY BETWEEN DELHI AND FRANKFURT FROM 18 FEBRUARY 2021

Delhi, 07 January 2021: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata Group and Singapore Airlines, today announced special, non-stop flights between Delhi and Frankfurt from 18 February 2021. The airline will fly twice a week between the two cities, on Thursdays and Saturdays, as part of the ‘transport bubble’ formed between India and Germany.
The new route will be served by Vistara’s brand-new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, offering world-class service and hospitality in Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. Frankfurt is Vistara’s second destination in Europe after London, United Kingdom. Subject to existing regulations around transit traffic, passengers can also travel via Frankfurt to rest of Germany and EU. VISTARA EMPOWERS CUSTOMERS TO DIRECTLY ‘BOOK ON GOOGLE’
18th December 2020
Delhi, 18 December 2020: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier, will now allow its customers to directly search and book Vistara flights on Google through the integrated ‘Book on Google’ feature. Following the implementation of the New Distribution Capability (NDC), made possible through a technology partnership with Amadeus, passengers will now be able to seamlessly book Vistara flights while searching for them on Google, without getting redirected to any other website.
Commenting on the launch of the new service, Vistara’s Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Vinod Kannan, said, “Customer centricity is one of our core values and it has been our constant endeavour to offer our customers the finest and most seamless experience - not just while flying with us, but across the customer journey. We are sure that this new ‘Book on Google’ feature will enable an even more hassle-free experience and bring greater convenience to our customers.”
The launch of ‘Book on Google’ feature streamlines the ticket-booking process and allows for flights to be easily booked through the following steps:
- Customers will need to log in to their Google accounts while booking their flights. This will enable all the saved information to get automatically filled for booking (including name, contact details etc.)
- Payment options, saved on Google, will be displayed automatically allowing a smooth transition from search to reservation and finally to the payment process. They can also decide to add a new credit / debit card during the booking process
- Customers will also progressively be able to view and purchase optional upgrades, pre-purchase additional baggage allowance, seat selection, and much more on the same Google interface.,

SINGAPORE AIRLINES AND VISTARA DEEPEN COMMERCIAL PARTNERSHIP
7th December 2020
Singapore/New Delhi, 07 December 2020: Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons Private Limited and SIA, have signed a Commercial Cooperation Framework Agreement. This agreement will further strengthen SIA’s and Vistara’s existing partnership and enable them to offer seamless services to their customers by harmonising efforts in capacity planning, sales, marketing, joint fare products, customer services and operations.
The agreement, which is subject to regulatory approval in Singapore, is an extension of a codeshare partnership that came into effect in 2017. Strengthening the partnership between SIA and Vistara will allow both airlines to achieve further synergies on services between Singapore and India, as well as in the key regions of South East Asia, Australia and New Zealand. This will be important as the aviation industry recovers from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, and both international and domestic connectivity are restored in a gradual and calibrated manner in tandem with the demand for air travel.

VISTARA RAMPS UP SERVICES TO UK WITH NEW MUMBAI-LONDON ROUTE

Delhi, 27 November 2020: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata group and Singapore Airlines, will operate special, non-stop flights between Mumbai and London Heathrow from 16 January 2021. The airline will operate these special flights thrice a week – on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, complementing its recently-launched service between Delhi and London Heathrow as part of the ‘transport bubble’ agreement between India and the UK. The flights will be operated on Vistara’s brand-new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner aircraft, offering world-class service and hospitality in Business, Premium Economy and Economy cabins. Bookings for these flights are being progressively opened on all channels, including Vistara’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents.

Delhi, 20 November 2020: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier, yesterday inaugurated services to/from Doha, under the ‘transport bubble’ agreement between India and Qatar. Vistara, thus, becomes the only airline to offer the choice of Premium Economy class of travel on the route, in addition to Business class and Economy class. The inaugural flight departed yesterday from Delhi at 2000 hrs (IST) and landed in Doha at 2145 hrs (AST). The flight returned from Doha at 2245 hrs (AST) yesterday, landing in Delhi (DEL) at 0510 hrs (IST) today. The airline will operate special, non-stop flights twice a week between Delhi and Doha.

Delhi, 05 November 2020: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier, today operated its first flight between Delhi and Dhaka, operated by its Airbus A320neo aircraft. The inaugural flight departed from Delhi at 0630 hrs (IST) and landed in Dhaka at 0920 hrs (BST). Starting today, the airline will be operating special, non-stop flights twice a week between the two cities under the bilateral ‘transport bubble’ between India and Bangladesh.

Delhi, 04 November 2020: Vistara, India’s finest full-service carrier and a joint venture of Tata group and Singapore Airlines, today announced special, non-stop flights between Delhi and Doha, the capital city of the state of Qatar, from 19 November 2020. The airline will operate its Airbus A320neo twice a week between the two cities, on Thursdays and Sundays, as part of the bilateral ‘transport bubble’ agreement between India and Qatar. Bookings are being progressively opened on all channels, including Vistara’s website, mobile app, and through travel agents.
