Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport serves the city of Lucknow. Located in Amausi, it was earlier known as Amausi Airport before being renamed after Chaudhary Charan Singh, the fifth prime minister of India.
The airport is about 12 km from Lucknow city centre and is the 11th busiest airport in India with two terminals for domestic and international travel.
