About Mumbai

Mumbai is India’s financial powerhouse and the epicentre of the biggest film industry in Asia — Bollywood. Also, famous for its sunny beaches, gorgeous seafront, celebrity homes, fast-paced lifestyle and a vibrant nightlife, the city radiates a contagious energy unlike any other city in India.

A true cosmopolitan metropolis, Mumbai is the place to find the best of fashion, food and entertainment in the country. While the city gives off a decidedly modern vibe, it also sports some of the grandest colonial-era architecture and historical monuments.

The local trains are the lifeline of Mumbai, but they are often crowded during peak hours. However, with so many other options like the metro trains, AC & non-AC buses, autos and taxis, traveling in the city is pretty easy.

You can visit Mumbai anytime of the year, but the winter months are the most enjoyable when the weather is less humid and the temperature is much cooler.

Winner of the "Best Airport in India and Central Asia" award at the Skytrax 2016 World Airport Awards, the Mumbai airport has two main passenger terminals —T1 and T2. 4. Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus –

If there is a most extravagant train station in the world, it has to be this. Another UNESCO World Heritage site in Mumbai, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, also known as CST, is an outstanding example of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture in India.
