Every journey with Vistara is smooth from start to finish. We think ahead for you, so your voyage is free of any hassles, beginning with our wide range of check-in options.

Do keep in mind these points for all Vistara check-in platforms:

  • Check-in counters open 2.5 hours and close 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights.
  • Check-in counters open 3 hours prior and close 1 hour prior to scheduled departure for international flights.


Vistara Web Check-in
Web Check-In

Indulge in the Vistara experience early with web check-in. We set out to make your journey extraordinary before you set foot in the airport with the added convenience of our web check-in option. Complete the straightforward check-in at your leisure from anywhere and enjoy your relaxed Vistara experience.

We recommend you keep the following in mind:

  • Web check-in is available 48 hours prior to scheduled departure time and closes 60 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for domestic flights.
  • Web check-in is available 48 hours prior and closes 120 minutes prior to scheduled departure time for international flights.

Terms and Conditions:

  • You can check-in on our website www.airvistara.com by clicking on the ‘Check-in’ tab on the booking widget.
  • You will receive your e-Boarding Pass via email.
  • Kindly read the instructions printed on your boarding pass carefully.
  • Emergency exit seats cannot be booked through web check-in. Vistara reserves the right to change your seat if you are assigned an emergency exit seat, in compliance with safety regulations or a change in aircraft configuration.
  • It is mandatory to produce a Web check-in boarding pass for security clearance and boarding.

Web check-in is not available:

  • For unaccompanied minors (UMNR) and Indian Armed Force Personnel.
  • If you have special service requests such as stretcher or extra seats.
  • For customers with a visual and hearing impairment.
  • For staff travel, industry discount tickets, upgrade vouchers and agent discount tickets.
  • For international credit card bookings where card verification is required before boarding the flight.
  • For groups of more than 9 people on the same booking.

Important points for domestic travel:

  • You cannot modify/cancel your seat booking through Web check-in.
  • If you have check-in baggage, we request you report at the Baggage Drop counter at least 60 minutes prior to flight departure. You must present your photo ID at the same time.
  • You are requested to be present at the boarding gate with a valid ID, at least 20 minutes prior to the flight departure. In case you report after boarding gate closure; the No-Show policy as per the fare rules will apply to your ticket.
  • If you are not carrying a printed copy of your boarding pass, it may be collected from the check-in counter by providing a valid photo ID, at least 45 minutes prior to flight departure.

Important points for international travel:

  • You cannot modify/cancel your seat booking through Web check-in.
  • You are requested to be present at the boarding gate with a valid ID, at least 20 minutes prior to the flight departure. In case you report after boarding gate closure; the No-Show policy as per the fare rules will apply to your ticket.
  • If you have check-in baggage, we request you to report at the Baggage Drop counter at least 120 minutes prior to flight departure. You must present a valid passport and visa at the counter.
  • If you are not carrying a printed copy of your boarding pass, it may be collected from the check-in counter by providing a valid passport and visa at the counter, at least 60 minutes prior to flight departure.

Vistara Mobile Check-in

Vistara Airport Check-in
Airport Check-In

If you have been unable to check-in online, do not worry as you can still use our airport check-in counters. Our Vistara airport staff will gladly help start your journey the right way with a speedy check-in and are happy to assist with any other requirements you may have.

We offer individual counters for Business, Premium Economy and Economy classes at most airports. At smaller airports, we provide combined Priority counters.

Additionally, there are separate counters for customers who checked-in online but have baggage to drop.

Please note that select airports also offer self-check-in kiosks. Check-in conveniently and go straight to security without standing in queues at the main check-in counter.

 
 
Return Check-In

We ease your travel a step further with our return check-in option. If your return flight is within 48 hours of your originating flight, you may opt for return check-in. With this facility, you can collect your boarding pass for both flights at the time of your initial check-in. Without having to go through the check-in process again, you will simply be able to go straight through to your return flight.

Applicable for both domestic and international flights.

Vistara Metro Check-in
Metro Check-In

Customers travelling within India on Vistara flights can check-in at the New Delhi metro station and simply breeze through the long queues at the airport. Please note the following points you need to keep in mind:

  • Check-in counters will be functional from 0600-2000 hours.
  • Metro check-in facility is available between 12 hrs and 2 hrs prior to flight departure.
  • One dedicated check in counter will be available at the New Delhi metro station.
  • All baggage screening will be processed by CISF and strapped by DMRC.
  • Oversize and fragile baggage will be not be accepted at the metro check in station.
  • Customers can enter the airport only 6 hours prior to departure.
  • Customers can collect their boarding pass and check-in their baggage at the metro station.
  • The journey from New Delhi metro station to the Airport station will take approximately 19 minutes, as suggested by DMRC.
  • The airport departure level is approximately a 10 minute walk from the airport metro station.
  • Payments cannot be collected at the metro station.
 
 
Scan and Fly Kiosk

We understand your busy schedule and have designed the Scan & Fly Kiosk, to make your travel easier. If you have already completed your web check-in, simply print your boarding pass at these kiosks and go straight through to security.

  • Complete the web check-in at your convenience
  • Walk up to a Scan & Fly Kiosk at the airport
  • Scan the QR code on the web boarding pass
  • Collect a printed copy of your boarding pass

Please note this option is available only if you have completed web check-in. If you have check-in baggage, please submit the same at the baggage drop counter.

 
 
Kiosk Check-In

Vistara ensures your airport check-in is simpler and quicker with Self Check-in Kiosks, available at select airports. You can now conveniently self-check-in at the kiosk, collect your own boarding pass and continue to security.

  • Customers holding a confirmed and valid e-ticket can check-in at the kiosks
  • Kiosk check-in is available from 24 hrs till 45 minutes prior to scheduled departure for domestic flights.
  • Kiosk check-in is available from 24 hrs till 90 minutes prior to scheduled departure for international flights.
  • Kiosk check-in is not allowed for:
    • Customers with waitlisted or open bookings
    • Customers with special assistance request such as wheelchairs, extra seats, visual and sight disabilities, unaccompanied minors, stretcher etc.
    • Staff travel
    • Upgrade vouchers

  • Regular passport
  • Diplomatic or Consular passport
  • Official, special or service passports issued to government officials
  • Military identity document
  • Laissez passer document from United Nations (UN)
  • Seaman’s book
  • National identity card
  • Children’s identity card
  • Certificate of identity issued to refugees (‘stateless’)
 
 

Joint (family) passports:

  • Normally a passport is issued to a single person. However, there are also joint passports in which case one passport is issued for several family members (usually a mother and her children under 16 years of age or husband and wife or without children).
  • For travel, such passports may only be used by the person named first in the passport; a wife may not use the passport for travel without her husband, or a child without its parent.
  • Please verify whether the travel document is valid for all passengers, as not all States allow family members to be registered on a single passport.
